Slow Braised Pork Belly

Put all ingredients in one pot and leave it for 2hours. You will be left with the most delicious, tender and flavoursome pork belly. So straight forward and gives you plenty of time to crack on with other things!

Slow Braised Pork Belly

  • 5kg Pork Belly
  • 6 Garlic Cloves
  • 2 Onions roughly chopped
  • 4 Star Anise
  • 100ml Soy Sauce


  1. Heat oven 170℃
  2. Put all ingredients in a lidded casserole dish and pour over enough water to barely cover the pork.
  3. Simmer for 5 mins
  4. Put lid on and dish in the oven for 2hrs
  5. Check internal temperature (80℃) and serve!
