Masala Prawns

Prawns are readily available in most places but especially when travelling the coast! This meant every once in a while I would need to jazz them up, keep things interesting… This is a great little recipe which does just that!

Masala Prawns

  • 20 Tiger Prawns
  • 4tbsp Grama Masala Mix
  • 2tsp Coriander seeds crushed
  • 2tsp Tumeric
  • 1 Lemon juiced
  • 3tbsp Paprika
  • 2tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1tbsp Ginger fresh
  • -100g Butter melted
  • 4 Garlic cloves


  1. Blitz all ingredients (listed below prawns) into a paste
  2. Marinade prawns 30mins prior
  3. Cook prawns as you wish!
