Honey Harissa Lamb Kofte

This is a great way to make something a bit more interesting out of lamb mince. They can be made in advance and are great for BBQs or simply a light healthy dinner!

Honey Harissa Lamb Kofte

Ingredients

  • 500g Lamb
  • 1.5 Onions grated
  • 4 Garlic Cloves
  • 1tbsp Honey
  • 1tsp Caraway Seeds grinded
  • 3tsp Ground Coriander
  • 2tsp Ground Cumin
  • 3tbsp Fresh Mint
  • 1tbsp Tom Puree
  • 1tsp Chilli Flakes

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl
  2. Mould Lamb into a sausage shape and skewer
  3. Refrigerate Lamb for an hour or so to help its shape set
  4. Heat griddle pan or BBQ, medium to high heat, and brown the lamb on all sides (7-8 mins each side)
  5. Wrap lamb in tin foil to keep warm or place in a warm oven until ready to serve
  6. Serve with Tzatziki or Babaganoush Dip
