Hollandaise Sauce

Hollandaise Sauce used to terrify me as I always heard how it so often went wrong… Using very little of 5 ingredients and taking your time this Hollandaise is easy peasy!

Hollandaise Sauce

  • Servings: 2
  • Difficulty: Moderate

  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 1tsp Water
  • 1tsp Lemon
  • 112g Butter
  • Cayenne Pepper, sprinkle


  1. Water, lemon, cayenne place all ingredients in glass bowl
  2. Melt butter
  3. Add butter to the water mix slowly whisking continuously
  4. Serve with eggs, fish, veg or meat!

Why not serve this with some lovely freshly grilled fish!
